Are you grateful enough for enough to be enough?
I can hear Donna Summer and Barbra Streisands words ringing in my ears, ‘Enough is Enough’ with the claim of the lack of sunshine, moonlight and stardust of that year in 1979 as a young child dancing around in the loungeroom of my childhood home’s orange shagpile carpet, feeling the music within every cell of my body. Fast forward many years to when the movie, ‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert’, was released for which the song ‘ I Will Survive’ by Gloria Gaynor amazing song re-vamp of 1994, now dancing around my own home (no shaggy pile carpet) with the music and words flowing through me. To me, The feeling these songs gave me resonated through my core: survival, fear to the point of being petrified, and how to get along no matter what. Lack of sunshine, moonlight and stardust. Turn around, did I lay down and die? Oh No No! Ive got all my life to live and all my love to give! There will be pieces, and tears, but enough is enough, and make ENOUGH BE ENOUGH!
Do you know about the gratitude of Enough? It’s all about obstacles and your power and resillience to overcome all of them.
If you had a million dollars, would that be enough if you weren’t ready for it? If you can’t manage one thousand dollars I doubt you would manage a million. Foucs on enough, not more.
When enough is enough (maybe not your dreams and goals) but thriving on ‘enough’ then abundance will arrive and always believe in the impossible being possible.
Gratitude is happiness. Thank you Donna Summer and Babs for the reminder of sunlight, moonshine and stardust.
